Tammy Kiefer, DC
Dr. Kiefer has over 25 years of experience in the Chiropractic profession. She graduated with a B.S. degree in Business Management from Georgia Tech in June of 1988 and graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in June, 1995. Dr. Kiefer was in private practice in Sarasota, Florida for 22 years. In her practice, her patient base ranged from infants to the elderly while specializing in family practice and sports injuries. She was team chiropractor during spring training for the major and minor league Cincinnati Reds and minor league Boston Red Sox baseball teams. Dr. Kiefer is a diversified practitioner, utilizing Activator and Thompson techniques.
Dr. Kiefer also has 14 years of higher education teaching experience in the medical field. She taught Anatomy and Physiology, two days a week at State College of Florida while seeing patients in her practice 3 days a week. As an Athens resident, she continues to share her educational experience, teaching Anatomy and Physiology at Athens Tech.
Dr. Kiefer sold her practice in Florida two years ago and moved to Athens. She and her husband love Athens and are so happy to live closer to their family.
